Jovian Whispers Final PDF Released!

Hello Jovian Whispers backers!
Earlier today we uploaded and released the final Jovian Whispers PDF. You can download the updated file directly from DriveThruRPG.
We also sent out all four One-Sheet Scenarios, as well as the Sol System Poster Map. You should have received several emails from DriveThruRPG, each containing a code to download one of the scenarios or the map. If you haven’t yet received your codes, feel free to contact us and we’ll make sure you get them.
Physical Rewards & Locking Addresses
In addition to the final PDF, we also uploaded the print files. That means in the next few days we'll order the printing proof. In the meantime, all backers with physical rewards need to finalize their shipping address. You should have received an email from BackerKit prompting you to do this. All addresses must be finalized in the next 48 hours.
Final Two PDF Rewards
At this point there are only two PDF rewards that have yet to be delivered: the Jovian Epilogue and the System Hacks document. The former has been written and is currently being edited. The latter is about two-thirds written. Both will be sent out in the next few weeks.

Jovian Whispers PDF Released to Backers

Good news, everyone! A few minutes ago we released the initial Jovian Whispers PDF to backers.
You should receive an email from DriveThruRPG containing a link to download the book. If you haven't received your link by tomorrow morning, please message us and we will make sure to resolve the issue.
What do you mean "initial" PDF?
More eyes are always better than just a few!
As part of our publication process, when we release a new game or major supplement, we create an initial PDF which we send out to backers. We then collect reports of typos or other errors and release a final, corrected PDF a few weeks later. It is this corrected PDF that we send to the printers.
Note that the initial PDF has one placeholder piece of art on page 6. In the corrected PDF this will be replaced with the final image. (We could have waited to release the PDF after this image was finished, but we chose instead to get it into your hands sooner.) The corrected PDF will also have the front and back covers added to the document.
If you find a typo or other error in the PDF, please let us know using the contact page on our website. We will be collecting error reports and making fixes until August 10th.
The campaign will be released to the general public once the corrected PDF is ready.

Hello loyal backers!
If you've been following us on Twitter or Facebook, you know that Jovian Whispers is nearing completion. The PDF is on track for release in a couple weeks. We'll send out a second Kickstarter update just before the PDF goes live.
Missing Surveys
We will be locking surveys and charging shipping one week from today, on July 14. There are currently 5 backers who haven't completed their surveys. If you don't see your name on the list below, you're good. If you do see your name, please complete your survey ASAP; we can't ship your game without it.

Jovian Whispers Progress
- The Jovian Whispers campaign and sourcebook PDF is almost finished. All that remains is to receive and insert the last two art pieces and to finish the final proofing. Once we have the final art, we'll release the PDF.
- The first unlocked One-Sheet Scenario is complete and queued for release after the campaign. Two more one-sheet scenarios are currently being written.
- The Sol System Poster Map is likewise almost done. The art for it has been finalized; all that remains is to finish proofing the text that will appear alongside each of the planets, stations and moons. Before the week is out, it will likely be finished and queued for release.

June Update: Surveys Incoming

Hello friends, fans and gaming family!
We have just sent out the first few backer surveys as part of a smoke test. If this test doesn't reveal any issues with the survey, most of you will receive yours on Thursday.
Once you receive yours, please fill it out ASAP. Doing so is necessary to fulfill your rewards. If you have not received a survey by Friday, please let us know and we'll make sure that you get one.
Jovian Whispers Progress
For the past two weeks, we've been hard at work on Jovian Whispers. Everything is currently progressing on schedule. If you follow us on Facebook or Twitter, you will soon see a couple two-page spreads, complete with art. Here is where things currently stand:
- We have received back and reviewed the edited text of Jovian Whispers.
- The text is currently in layout. The book will be 160 pages. We hope to finish the layout and move onto art direction by the end of the week.
- We currently have 3 active art commissions and 1 active map commission. There are still 8 pieces of art and 3 maps that need to be commissioned after the current ones are completed.
- One of the unlocked One-Sheet Scenarios has been written and is currently awaiting editing. Two more have been outlined.
- The fourth One-Sheet Scenario waits in the queue, along with the System Hacks document and Jovian Epilogue. Progress on these will likely remain slow until after the initial release of the campaign PDF.
Jovian Whispers is Funded!

We're really been blown away by the amount of support that you've shown us. This is without a doubt one of our most successful Kickstarters ever. You are all awesome! And I know we say this a bunch, but we really couldn’t have done it without your support. Thank you from all of us at Tab Creations!
As you likely know by now, the funding period ended a few moments ago with a final pledge total of $11,774! This means that not only are we been fully funded, but together we unlocked SEVEN stretch goals as well.
We’re really excited about this, but this isn’t our first Kickstarter. We know that for us, now that the funding period is over, it’s time to buckle down and continue pushing this game through to its final stages of production. We’re proud to say that we have never been late sending backers their rewards, and we have no intention of starting now!
Future Updates
We’re planning on sending out Kickstarter updates to everyone about once a month, this way we can keep all of our backers informed about the campaign’s progress. If you’d like to receive updates more frequently than that, we highly encourage you to follow us on the two following social networks. We will make updates to these pages about once a week, giving people the latest news about the game.
You can also keep us with us, or discuss our game, through our development blog or on our forums. Additionally, we have a Patreon page if you are interested in helping support future releases of our various game lines.
The Next Couple Weeks
It usually takes Kickstarter about two to three weeks to process pledges and release the funds. We plan to send out the first monthly update at that time. It will include information on the state of Jovian Whispers and the unlocked extras. Until then, here’s what you can expect from us:
- We have chosen BackerKit as our pledge manager. A BackerKit pre-order store will go live later today for late backers.
- Surveys will go out as soon as Kickstarter finishes processing the funds.
- Meanwhile, the draft text has been sent to the editor. She estimates that the edited text will be ready for us in about a week.
- We also continue to commission art and plan to regularly post previews to our Facebook and Twitter accounts, as well as to our blog.
